APK False

The false APK mark refers to the mark used by Pieter Cockx (De Grieksche A, 1701-1722). The mark has often been reproduced and applied to pieces from, for instance, Northern France. The fact that the style, decoration, colours and chosen subject or shape don't match the original period in which the mark was used then suggests the inauthenticity of the mark.
