De Porceleyne Schotel (1598-1791)

De Porceleyne Schotel pottery, established in the late sixteenth century, stood on the south side of Molslaan. A Delft fire inspector’s document dated 1668 tells us that it must have been producing a lot of wares around that time. This safety inspection of potteries and painters’ workshops found that De Porceleyne Schotel was the only pottery to have three kilns.
