De Hollantse Daalder (1695-1721)

In 1695 Maria van den Velde entered into an agreement with Lambertus van Eenhoorn to establish a pottery at her home, De Hollantse Daalder, on what is now Nieuwe Kerkstraat.

In 1708 she planned to sell the company to Jan van der Klip, but the sale did not take place. It is unclear whether Van den Velde operated the company independently thereafter. In 1721 she sold the house and the pottery ceased to exist.1
