Het betreft hier een later product, mogelijk zelfs gemaakt buiten de landsgrenzen. De naam Delft Blauw (of Delft Blue in dit geval) was geen beschermde naam en werd gebruikt door verschillende fabrieken, daar het Delfts zo populair is.
