F.V.FRYTOM

Frederick van Frytom (c. 1632-1702) is one of the few pottery painters who signed his work in full or in monogram on the front of objects. This is therefore a painter's signature and not a factory mark. Works in oil paint are also known by Van Frytom. His landscapes on earthenware can be recognized by their original compositions and pointillist style.
