Okay, take a seat... the mark refers to the factory Regina Kunstaardewerkfabriek, founded in the Dutch city of Gouda in 1898. The factory existed through 1979 and was known for its 'plateel,' a typical type of earthenware. Sitting down? It is not a planter to my opinion. Although it surely can be used as such 😁. This object has the shape of a bourdaloue. The story goes that it is named after priest Louis Bourdaloue, who apparently gave such compelling sermons, that ladies did not want to leave to visit the washroom while he spoke and had these brought to them by maids. They are chamber pots or lady urinals. 😳

May I suggest planting some Lily of the valley? It is known for its sweet scent.
