2 objecten van Jamie Blackburn, graag een antwoord in het Engels. I was wondering if you could tell me anything about the plaques in the attached images. They have been in our family for at least 150 years and were always said to be of some value. They measure 0.5 metres across by 0.6 metres in height. Would you have any idea as to where they came from and what they are? I would be most interested to find out. I would also be interested if they have any value. Any information that you could provide would be very useful to myself as I have often wondered about them. Many thanks in advance. Jamie Blackburn
This wall plaque painted with a typically Dutch winter scene was not produced in Delft but in the town of Makkum in the province of Friesland in the North of Holland. We will do some research into the date and provide you with literature references in a few weeks.
